Artist and Co_Creator: Christine Abdel Halim

Singer, Songmaker, Cabaretist, Choir Director and Feminist Christine Abdel Halim is a popular and famous regional artist who always include her messages on women’s topics in her work. Her lyrical and musical talents as well as her special stage presence can be felt and experienced in all of her artistic performances. In her creative projects, she developed the various art-formations in which the integration and connection of women especially is accentual. With great humor and liveliness she lets over to overcome all our fears in creatives. All this and much more makes her an exceptional artist, Her openness to meet the challenges of life artistically and with great humanity fills her presence for us with particular quality and importance.

A big thanks to you, Chrisine, for your continious support and encouragement as friend and artist colleague. For many years you’ve inspired me/us with your outstanding work. I thank you for your teachings and for the motivation which sets to exterior my creativity – be it in co-creations or in projects that you apply to me. From whole heart – thank you Chrissie!

As I met Petra in 2017 she has constantly encouraged me in a sensitive and patient way to more express myself through music and to go public. She provided her talent for organization, for technical support and some promotion as well as for photographs and video clips in 2018 and 2019. How much I thank you Petzi – I will express in my honest work in the discipline and in the belief that we are guided and protected by the universe, as we both experienced believe and have faith in – my dear friend from the stars.

Video work: Maria Wassermann

Maria Wassermann is working as a prompter at the city theatre of Innsbruck and is also a theatre producer and filmmaker. She joined the team in 2018. I have admired her work for many years now and had the privilege to take part in the video clip for „XXLarge“ a song by Christine Abdel-Halim who is another art colleague. Her first contribution in the project with Yamuna, was realizing the video clip to the song „the colour of your soul“. She provides her great creative artwork in terms of filming, producing and cutting in visualization and realization. Thank you so much it is so exciting to work with you. Hopefully, I can inspire you – as your time allows – for more video work in the future, especially for my own songs. I am flattered that you have always believed in me as a singer and songwriter and encouraged me when I was getting ready to start.

Mag. Dr. Darinka D. Krpata is biologist and master of wood crafting. Her creative work as D²a includes concept-art and abstract paintings shown in exhibition and co-creations. Last but not least I want to thank the FZ-Cafe for giving me a platform to train and perform as well as a network of female power which is such an inspiration and support. Once again it shows how important it is to have a location for females/feminists who respect each other, provide room and space and share and express thoughts, experiences as well as talents. It is an important platform for individual interests and political actions in various creative forms. I thank all the women who promote through their financial and personal contribution to keep this place alive and give opportunities to women coming in all shapes. Besides that, I also thank the public and governmental sponsoring, the work of local politicians which still fight in the difficulties of the current politics.
